a therapist, check to see that they are licensed with the
state. In Washington state, the initials are L.M.P., and
stand for Licensed Massage Therapist or Licensed Massage
Practitioner.
Also, interview
a therapist on the phone before making an appointment, to
be sure that you feel comfortable.
